has lived in Norway all her life. She''s loved dolls since she was a child, and also loved to draw and sculpt. When she was 35, she found she could combine her gifts and make dolls for the world to love. The inspiration for her subjects comes not only from children but from other dolls; old and new. Skille works in Cernit and Modelene, and loves to clothe her dolls in traditional Norwegian outfits. Her partnership with Götz began in 1998.

Ola is named after a five-year-old boy from Sissel Skille’s neighborhood. He is fascinated by nature and loves to climb and run and explore the world around him. His favorite plaything is a train crafted of wood. Size 68 cm / 27 inches.

This is a Variation Doll: That means the finish of the doll is limited to one year´s production - yet the doll type remains in the collection for several years, everytime in a different finish. Hair comes as mohair, the eyes are crystal and the vinyl body is articulated.

It showed a young girl elaborately dressed for a big celebration, looking at once proud and yet a little shy. Her name comes form a Thai girl who lives in Norway. Size 64 cm / 25 inches. World Wide Limited Edition to only 750 pcs.
