Hello and welcome to the August Schwer Cuckoo Clocks Section The tradition of Schwer´s manufactured Black Forest Clocks reaches also like other clock manufacturers back to the beginning of the 19th century. The difference between Schwab clocks and others are not very big - they are handcarved and -painted, done by skilled masters from the Black Forest - but some modells are just more budget priced than others. Within the year 2005 the company took over the formerly known clock manufacturer Albert Schwab.

Very nice dark brown hand carved 15 inch cuckoo clock with two little squirrels sitting left and right of the wooden dial. On top of the roof a sparrow is ready to take off. The clock comes either with a one or an eight day movement. Both movements do come with wooden dial & hands and stop-strike device cuckoo. The clocks do come in a warm walnut colour.

Classic Black Forest Deer Trophy Cuckoo clock Version 1
This is definitely "the most wanted" cuckoo clock design - the deer trophy on the roof top. The clock comes in different versions: Only the deer trophy on top. Additionally available with two crossed rifles below it. Further add-ons are - left to the dial a hunted rabbit, right to it a pheasant. A hunter bag finishes the symbol collection. Beside different sizes, one or eight day movements, only the cuckoo or in combination with the 4 dancers. Optional some of the clocks come with a musical movement.

Bird Nest Black Forest Cuckoo Clock
This cuckoo clock is surrounded by handcarved leaves. Right on the roof top a singing bird is sitting - watching over its nest, below the dial. To the left and right are also birds sitting in the leaves, which are moving to the half and full hour. The regular clock is equipped with a 1 day movement, but is also available with an 8 day movement. You also can additionally order the 1 day clock with a music movement, which will opens a second door and bring out a zitter player beside the cuckoo door.
